Why are the Freightliner Optiview dash screens delaminating?

This is due to the choice of bonding glue from the original factory. It is prone to separation (delamination) after a few years in hot environments like a dash.

Is there any programming needed?

No programming needed. All the gauges, miles, display interface comes from your RV computer which is separate.

How do I remove the display from my RV?

Can I replace the glass screen myself with DIY repair kit?

The DIY repair kit is a good option for those that are patient, meticulous, and can follow instructions carefully. It is very similar to replacing a cell phone screen. Check the video and if you feel confident you can do it, it is a good choice.
