By accessing or using any services provided by MTC Screens LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.
- Service Description & Scope
MTC Screens LLC specializes in mail-in repair services, DIY repair kits, and refurbished displays for various marine and RV display systems. Our services include:
Mail-In Repair Service: Professional repair and restoration of marine and RV display systems. Customers ship their units to us, and we diagnose, repair, and return the units. This service includes parts replacement, labor, and testing. We service a wide variety of display systems including but not limited to Medallion displays, touchscreen systems, and other marine and RV electronics.
DIY Repair Kits: Customers may purchase repair kits containing replacement parts and instructions for self-service repairs. These kits are sold as-is without installation support or warranty on the installation process itself.
Refurbished Displays: Fully restored and tested marine and RV display systems ready for immediate installation.
Compatible Applications: Our services are designed for display systems installed in marine vessels and RVs, including but not limited to boats such as Malibu, Scarab, Sea Ray, Monterey, Four Winns, Premier, and other marine applications, as well as Freightliner RVs and other RV platforms. Compatibility with specific display systems and applications should be verified with us prior to service. We cannot guarantee compatibility with all display systems or applications.
Turnaround Time: Turnaround times for mail-in repairs are listed on our website header. No rush or expedited services are available. All repairs are completed in the order received, depending on the nature of the repair and parts availability. Research and diagnostic services have no specific time constraint or expectation and will be completed as time and resources permit.
Exclusions: Our services do not include installation, removal, or integration with boat or RV systems. Customers are responsible for all installation and removal labor. We do not provide technical support for installation or troubleshooting of boat or RV systems beyond the display unit itself. Compatibility with specific display systems should be confirmed before service is initiated. - Warranty & Liability
Warranty Coverage: All mail-in repair services and refurbished displays come with a warranty period selected by the customer at the time of purchase. The warranty period begins when the repaired or refurbished unit is returned to the customer. Our warranty covers workmanship for mail-in service repairs and manufacturer defects of replaced parts only. We do not guarantee that our services will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Warranty Exclusions - What Voids Warranty: The warranty is void if any of the following occur:
Water damage, moisture intrusion, or exposure to saltwater or freshwater environments
Improper installation, removal, or integration with boat or RV systems
Modifications to the display unit or its components by the customer or third parties
Physical damage, drops, impacts, or mishandling after delivery
Use in applications other than those specified or incompatible with the display system
Failure to follow provided instructions or guidelines
Use of non-approved replacement parts or accessories
Limitation of Liability: MTC Screens LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or services. This includes but is not limited to damages such as boat downtime, lost fishing time, lost rental income, business interruption, or any other consequential losses. In no event shall our liability exceed the amount paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
Disclaimer of Affiliation: MTC Screens LLC is an independent service provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any display manufacturers, boat manufacturers, RV manufacturers, or other original equipment manufacturers. We are not authorized dealers or representatives of these companies. Any repairs or services performed by MTC Screens LLC are performed independently and do not represent the views or endorsement of the original manufacturers. - Right to Refuse Service
MTC Screens LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to provide a reason for such refusal. - Shipping and Liability Disclaimer
We are not liable for any items lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. Once an item has been shipped, responsibility for its delivery and condition rests with the shipping carrier.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Any errors in shipping details provided by the customer may result in additional fees or non-delivery. - Pricing and Payment
All prices are subject to change without prior notice. We reserve the right to modify pricing, discounts, promotions, or fees at any time.
Payments must be made in full before any services are rendered or products are shipped. - Returns and Refunds
Any returns or refund requests must comply with our Return Policy, which may be updated from time to time.
We reserve the right to refuse refunds or exchanges if items are returned in a damaged or used condition. - Warranty Disclaimer
The warranty period selected by the customer begins when the item is returned.
Our warranty covers workmanship for mail-in service repairs and manufacturer defects of the replaced parts only. We do not guarantee that our services will be error-free or uninterrupted. - Limitation of Liability
MTC Screens LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or services.
In no event shall our liability exceed the amount paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim. - Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles. - Amendments
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. - Limitation of Liability for Third-Party Handling
MTC Screens LLC is not liable for any damages resulting from installation, repairs, or handling performed by the customer, an installer, or a repair technician of the customer's choice. - Force Majeure
MTC Screens LLC shall not be held liable for any delays, inability to perform services, or failure to meet delivery timelines due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters, severe weather events, earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, or other acts of God
Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies
Supply chain disruptions, parts shortages, or unavailability of replacement components from manufacturers
Shipping delays, carrier disruptions, or transportation failures
Government actions, regulations, lockdowns, or trade restrictions
Labor strikes, workforce shortages, or facility closures
Power outages or utility failures
Cyber attacks or system failures
Any other unforeseen events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control
In the event of a force majeure occurrence, we will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of delays and provide updated timelines when possible. Customers agree that MTC Screens LLC shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from such delays or inability to perform, and that extended service timelines or alternative solutions may be necessary.
Research and Diagnosis Services
Any items sent in for research or diagnostic purposes are under no time constraint or expectation. We will complete evaluations as time and resources permit.
