    Delamination

    This happens commonly and results in a bubbles around the edges or center, inside the screen.

    LCD Sliding

    When the delamination starts, the LCD slides down the glass, exposing a silver strip at the top of the screen.

Is mtc design better than the original?

Our design is our proprietary anti-delamination design, and should not suffer from the common issues. In addition, we use a durable LED backlight that is brighter than the original. Finally, we add a nice anti-fingerprint coating that resists water spots and fingerprints.

How to remove from the boat?

Check behind the screen, remove the 4 allen screws nuts. Disconnect the plug. The screen comes out from the front

Is there any programming?

No. With all repair options, all of your settings remain the same. For refurbihsed units, you can change your controls under the switch- setup menu.

Why are the original PV700 screens delaminating?

This is due to the choice of bonding materials and the manufacturing process. To resist vibration and heat, a perfect bond with durable materials must be used. mtc screens uses a proprietary blend and process to ensure anti delamination.
