    This is when you press zones and nothing happens. It seems like it is not reacting.

    Unresponsive

    We commonly see zones or sections that are not reactive. For example, the entire right half or top half not responding.

  • Peeling Delamination

    Commonly the black mask will peel away from the glass, leaving a bubble around the edge.

DIY Repair Kit

For advanced technicians and installers, we will send you the replacement LCD touch screen repair kit to install yourself. Very similar to replacing a cell phone screen.

Is mtc design better than the original?

Our design is our proprietary anti-delamination design, and should not suffer from the common issues. In addition, we use a durable LED backlight that is brighter than the original. Finally, we add a nice anti-fingerprint coating that resists water spots and fingerprints.

How to remove from the boat?

Check behind the screen, remove the 4 nuts. Disconnect the plug. The screen comes out from the front

Is there any programming?

No. With all repair options, all of your settings remain the same. For refurbihsed units, you can change your controls under the switch- setup menu.

How do I know this will fix my issue?

Why is this so much lower cost than buying a new unit?

When you buy a new unit, you are buying a lot of additional components like the wiring harness, boards, housings, that all do not need to be replaced. We focus on replacing only the parts that have failed to reduce costs.

How do I know if I have version 1 or 2?

At this point, we know there are two different types of screens used on these units. We know that you have to match your version of screen with the new screen you order from us, otherwise it will not work. Currently the only known method is to open your existing display and check the cables to confirm before ordering. Eventually we may be able to match based on part numbers.
