You have come to the right place. These original units were designed with a LCD/Digitizer assembly bonded with glue that can delaminate.

We also see the Viper 3 LCD backlight burn out or cause stripes, and other visual defects.

Is mtc design better than the original?

Our design is our proprietary anti-delamination design, and should not suffer from the common issues. In addition, we use a durable LED backlight that is brighter than the original. Finally, we add a nice anti-fingerprint coating that resists water spots and fingerprints.

How to remove from the boat?

Varies depending on the boat. Check behind the screen, remove the network plug, and see how it is fastened to the dash.

Is there any programming?

No. With all repair options, all of your settings remain the same. For refurbihsed units, you can change your controls under the switch- setup menu.

How do I know this will fix my issue?
