the HV700 displays were used for 6 years on many surf boats and pontoons or tritoons. See below for some system photos and information. Our repair service can restore all of them.

Mastercraft 10 Button
The majority of our repair orders are from Mastercraft boats.
These units were used in 2013-2017 and were offered in touch and non touch versions.
Famously, the touch versions have an issue called ghosting or ghost touch, where buttons are randomly being pressed.
We also see LCD defects like black spots, fading image, stripes, or random colors being displayed. Our repair service fixes all of these.
Why are the HV700 units having issues?
From 2012-2018 the HV700 and HV700HB Murphy built touch screen control display system was used in many boat models.
It is very, very common for the boats that used the HV700, HV700T, or HV700HB display from Murphy to exhibit random, erratic touching after a few years in use.
This is not due to delamination, as is the case with the Medallion built displays, but more due to a failure of the internal Atmel MXT224 chipset built into the touch control circuit.
These chips can fail over time, and until now, the only fix is to replace the entire display unit at a cost of $5,000 USD or more.
We also see many LCD failures including black display, faint image, black spots on LCD, lines, etc.
We can refurbish your display with our superior replacement Touch LCD assembly to fix all of these issues at a fraction of the cost of replacing it.

Boot Up Common Issues
Besides ghost touch screen issues, we also see booting problems. These can be identified by the following:
Black screen
Stuck on Booting... page
Image looks black, very faint "Booting..." in top left
Stuck on manufacturer logo screen
This is due to a flash memory issue that we will fix as part of the mail-in repair service, no additional cost!

Take a look at our test program showing the ghost touching in the lab
Here, a touch chip sits on the bench tester. The touch activations are happening due to the internal failure of the OEM atmel chip. This can happen after 1-7 years of use.
So why is it so expensive to replace the complete display?
Well, when you replace your entire HV700 display, you are replacing a lot of parts that have been obsolete for many years. When parts go obsolete, the price skyrockets as people buy them all up, in an effort to create a monopoly.
The reality is, to fix the ghosting, frozen/unresponsive touch, or LCD defect issues, most of those internal parts don't need to be replaced.
We can reuse 80% of your display unit, and replace only the parts that have failed.
Kinda like replacing your spark plugs to fix a misfire, instead of replacing your entire engine.
This is why the mtc screens solutions saves you thousands of dollars while fixing your boat.
