MTC-BL Upgraded Backlight Inverter Module Repair for 6.5" Medallion Touch Display

Having issues with a dark or dim LCD display on your Malibu, Tige, and mastercraft boat?

Very commonly, the backlight module fails on these Medallion Smart Touch 6.5” units, leaving your display with a nearly black, completely dim view and no way to increase brightness in settings.

The dealer will offer a complete unit replacement at over $4,000.

Fortunately, it is possible to replace only the backlight module, and we have designed an improved board that uses a more durable, rugged high voltage inverter.

However, there is no need to replace the entire unit.

For DIY option- simply watch the installation video for the MTC-6C on the installation page. You will need to remove the old backlight inverter and install the new one. Its very simple.

Or choose the mail in service and we can install it for you for an additional $100.

This will result in your display looking better than new, no programming needed, and without having to spend $6,000 on a new display assembly from the dealer.
